Friday Movie Night - Income Inequality Negatively Impacts Economic Growth

hot buttered popcorn It's Friday Night! Party Time!   Time to relax, put your feet up on the couch, lay back, and watch some detailed videos on economic policy!

When a Federal Reserve Governor speaks, Bloomberg listens. Shame that's what it takes for the financial press to cover the middle class implosion that is going on in this country.

Federal Reserve Governor Sarah Bloom Raskin said the financial inequality resulting from stagnating incomes for most Americans and rapid growth in wealth for the richest 1 percent is hindering the U.S. economic recovery.

The above talk by Raskin was part of a seminar at New America Foundation, rebuilding the road to financial stability.

FIVE STARS

Sarah Bloom Raskin for Secretary of Treasury!

I cannot help but compare Mrs. Raskin's speaking with erstwhile grand-guru Greenspan's deliberate (or fumbling?) obscurantism. She actually makes sense! She even has ideas!

When did corporate media get sold on the idea that the less sense the Fed Chair makes testifying before Congress, the wiser he is and the greater significance should be attached to each vacuity or ambiguity that he has expressed?
