People don't want jobs, they want a living.

Stop using jobs as a synonym for making a living. Stop giving politicians a break and define a job in terms of a living wage. Jobs above a certain wage can actually support a living. But providing jobs is the end of the obligation for politicians. Making a living wage for workers should be the employment obligation of politicians. 42% of jobs won't support a living so that should be the unemployment rate. People don't want jobs, they want a living. Then it would be apparent what kind of trouble we are really in. A 42% unemployment rate might cause a demand for action. Using available information living wage information isn't really fair. $15 an hour is provided as a living wage. That is not living, it is existing. That can change if the tax system is used to influence jobs creation. The National Interest is best served if there is a happy, healthy trained population. A lot of wars and actions are validated by "National Interest". Do something progressively positive in the name of National Interest and use the tax code to create jobs. Create tax sanctuary areas for building factories and tax sanctuary areas in the tax code for jobs investing. In the same National Interest tax heavily investing and transactions that stagnate money, cause unemployment and endanger the country. Profit through people.
